Alliances are groups of territories which share the same stat spread. Each territory has its own specialty or specialties, which provide buffs to their alliance.

Alliances are fluid and can change at any time.

This will of course affect the stats of those alliances, which is relevant to each territory's personal schemes! To alter an alliance, a territory's leader should declare their intended fealty. After that, the alliance they wish to join will have a secret vote among themselves on whether or not to accept this new alliance member.


After any Issue is voted on:

The affected region's bonus stats (i.e. the ones they give to their alliance) will change accordingly.

Should they decide to leave their alliance and join another, they will take all of their bonuses and negatives with them.

When a building is built as a result of the auction, it is built in a specific territory. The building is much like a territory's bonus stats: it belongs to that territory, but affects the whole alliance the territory currently belongs to (or, in the case of the Kingdom stats such as Authority and Stability, the entire country). Unlike a region's specialty bonuses, the building stats cannot be affected by events (i.e. if an alliance has a building that provides +1 Trade, that alliance cannot drop below +1 Trade for as long as the territory owning that building is in that alliance).
